P. PERFORMANCE VENUE OPTIONS (for Performance Arts ONLY)
The KC Fringe Festival Performance Venues will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis for the 2009 Festival. Performance venues will be assigned by the Festival. If any of the options listed below is absolutely necessary to your show, such that you would prefer to withdraw if we can not accommodate the request, please click on that option.

Q. Rehearsal
Each group is allowed three hours of technical rehearsal time in its venue. Technical rehearsals are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Please indicate your first, second and third choices for tech rehearsal by marking 1, 2 and 3. Your assigned technician will contact you in early July regarding your scheduled rehearsal time.

Staging
Assume your set must fit through a standard-size door (30 x 80 inches) and that you must set-up and strike unassisted. You will have only ten minutes to set up and ten minutes to strike. Please rehearse setup and strike before your technical rehearsal. Minimal storage is available, but any available storage space is shared among three performance groups. Fringe is not responsible for any lost or stolen property. Plan on bringing your set, costumes and props with you each day. Fringe does not supply set elements. Rigging is not possible in the majority of venues.

**General Technical Information**
>All productions must have a stage manager to call the show. This may be waived if your show is very simple.
> All groups must work within the confines of their assigned space. Pre-existing lighting and stage setup cannot be changed.
> Please bear in mind that you will be working under considerable technical restraints. Keep your cues simple.
> You will have only three hours to tech your show.
> You will have one venue technician running sound and lights for each performance.
> Any set-up, backstage or deck assistance needed is your responsibility.
> You must bring two unmarked copies of an accurate script.
> Please do not call your venue for any reason.

     Late night shows: $60 - If you would like to request a late night show (in addition to your regular evening/afternoon shows), please include a separate check for $60. Late night spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. (We will return the $60 fee for any late night requests that we are unable to fulfill.)

Early Bird Registration:
Applications submitted by March 1, 2009 can deduct $50 from the total.

Signed Agreement:
This application will be considered a legal agreement between you and the KC Fringe Festival. Application fees will be processed upon receipt. Companies may withdraw from the Festival with a full refund until May 15, 2009, or with a 50% refund until May 31, 2009. Cancellations are accepted only from the Primary Contact, and only in writing. Companies that withdraw after June 1, 2009, forfeit their application fee. All performing companies agree
to adhere to the laws of Missouri, the ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and the policies and procedures of the KC Fringe Festival. The KC Fringe Festival reserves the right to cancel any performances of companies not adhering to this agreement. ALL PERFORMERS must individually sign a waiver of liability form and provide a signed copy to the Fringe office. Failure to provide signed forms for all performers within 15 days before the Festival starts will result in cancellation of the show and forfeiture of the application fee.
