What is the KC FRINGE FESTIVAL?

A Celebration!
The KC Fringe Festival — now in its eigth year — is jam-packed with live theater, dance, performance art, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, storytelling, film and fashion. The 2013 festival, like its predecessors, is a celebration of local, regional and national artists, presenting events at venues throughout Kansas City. With the 2013 Festival almost here (July 18-28) we celebrate our eigth year of fun! For a quick summary of the festival, check out this comprehensive youtube video.


How to Fringe?

  1. BUY A BUTTON (One time purchase)
    BUTTONS MAY BE PURCHASED AT EVERY VENUE & FRINGE 411.
    The Fringe Button provides access to every event at this year’s Fringe Festival. With your $5 Fringe Button, you can purchase tickets to any Fringe show and gain entrance to free events at Fringe Central.
    No Button = NO Show Entry (no exceptions)
    If you purchase a button and ticket online, bring your printed receipts to the venue or Fringe 411 to receive your ticket and button.

  2. GET A TICKET
    Whatever your style there’s a show for you. Ticket prices vary per event, and can be purchased at the venues 30 minutes prior to showtime. Advance ticket sales are available online and at the Fringe 411 Ticket Booth in Crown Center. We accept most major credit cards and good hard cash; no personal checks please. No Late Entry to shows (no exceptions).

    3. Save time. Buy a $90 Punch Card

    The holder/s of this card is/are entitled to a total of $100 in tickets to the 2013 Kansas City Fringe Festival. This card is transferable but not refundable - unused amounts are not refundable. A 2013 festival admission button is required in conjunction with this card. THIS IS NOT A TICKET. Present this card at the venue box office to receive ticket/s. Tickets are available 30 minutes before show start time. All seating is general admission - no late seating.

    Running Times: All Fringe shows are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted. There is a half-hour between shows at each
    venue, and different venues have different start times.
    Doors open 20 minutes before showtime.
    No refunds after the show begins, and no late seating.
