All about the '09 Fringe Festival:
What do I do?
First, check out the participants and scan the descriptions of shows. What looks interesting to you? Which venues are they in? What times do they perform? Plot out what you want to see, grab your friends and family, go forth and fringe!
Fringe Admission Buttons
Your 2009 button is your admission to the Festival. Buttons cost only $ 5.00 and are available wherever tickets are sold. Whether you see one show or ten, you just need one button. Make sure to wear it to all shows you attend.
Why a button? One hundred percent of the money we bring in from ticket sales is returned to artists and venues. Button proceeds help defray Festival operation expenses like advertising and program printing. So don't forget to buy your button. As a special bonus, your Fringe Button will open the door to the nightly Fringe Binge and give you discounts at local business, restaurants, theaters and organizations. Wait, there’s more! After the Festival, keep your button and join our email list (link is located below left) to receive updates about discounts from local businesses throughout the year.
Tickets
New and returning Fringers now have new ways to buy tickets this year. Both buttons and tickets are available for purchase with cash or credit cards (yay!) at all venues prior to each show. Or click here to buy and print them ahead of time. You will also be able buy tickets and buttons at Fringe Crown Center Atrium during the week of the festival. A small service fee will be applied to all credit card purchases.
This year, we are introducing individualized ticket pricing for each show. Why? The cost of producing a Fringe show is not the same for all artists. By allowing each group to set its own prices (but no more than $10) we help them recover their costs so that they can go on Fringing forever, and ever, and ever . . .
